05-10-2010: Passchendaele 1917 Pipes en Drums part of the Royal British Legion Scotland

During the assembly of the National Piping Committee the 18th of september 2010, the Passchendaele 1917 Pipes & Drums was adopted by the Royal British Legion Scotland (RBLS). Our band will henceforth be known as the RBLS Passchendaele 1917 Pipes & Drums and is the first RBLS band outside of Scotland.

14-09-2010: Drummer Xander wins second place in Belgian chempionship

During the Belgian championship our side drummer Xander Feys won second place! He was the only participating Belgian drummer and faced strong opponents. Congratulations for our Belgian champ!

11-09-2010: Our band wins the prize of the public at the Belgian championship for pipe bands!

Our band won the prize of the public at the annual Belgian championship for pipe bands at Alden Biezen. This is the second time we win this award. Congratulations to every player who participated!

11-05-2010: Passchendaele 1917 P & D whisky turns out to be great succes!

Our band made a sponsorship deal with OMC some time ago. A special caig of Glendronach whisky was bottled and named after the band. Our crest is pictured on the bottle and box.

The whisky turns out to be an international succes. It is being sold in several countries, including the USA and Japan. The stock of 240 bottles is almost completely sold out.
